Refund & Return Policy

Thank you for shopping with Candeele. We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase.
Because our candles are handmade with care, and because of hygiene and safety reasons, returns are handled carefully according to the policy below.


1. Return Eligibility

We accept returns only if:

  • The item arrived damaged, defective, or incorrect

  • You contact us within 14 days of receiving your order

  • The item is unused, unopened, and in its original packaging

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on:

  • Used candles

  • Opened or partially used items

  • Custom-made or personalized products

  • Sale items or promotional items

  • Items damaged after delivery due to customer misuse


2. Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you by email.
If your refund is approved:

  • Your refund will be processed to your original payment method

  • Refunds typically take 5–10 business days depending on your bank or payment provider

Shipping fees are non-refundable, unless the return is due to our error (damaged, defective, wrong item).


3. Exchanges

We only replace items if they are:

  • Damaged

  • Defective

  • Incorrect

If you need an exchange for the same product, contact us within 14 days of receiving your order.


4. Damaged or Incorrect Items

If your product arrived damaged or incorrect, please contact us immediately with:

  • Order number

  • Photos of the item

  • Photos of the packaging

We will send a replacement or offer a refund as soon as the issue is confirmed.


5. Return Process

  • Instructions on how to ship the item back

Please do not send items back without contacting us first.


6. Shipping Costs for Returns

  • If the return is due to our mistake (damaged, defective, incorrect item):

  • If the return is due to customer reasons (changed mind, ordered wrong item):

We recommend using a trackable shipping service. We are not responsible for items lost during return shipping.


7. Non-Returnable Items

For hygiene and safety reasons, we cannot accept returns on:

  • Used candles

  • Opened packaging

  • Custom or personalized labels

  • Gift cards

  • Clearance or discounted products


8. Late or Missing Refunds

If you haven’t received your refund yet:

  1. Check your bank account

  2. Contact your bank or payment provider (processing time varies)

  3. Contact us at Contact@candeele.com

We will assist you as needed.


9. Cancellation Policy

Orders can be canceled only if:

  • They have not been processed or shipped

  • You contact us within 12 hours of placing the order

Once the order is shipped, cancellation is no longer possible.
